Because there is a whole lot of flowy somethin' happening with these dresses this year.Now don't get me wrong: I like a flowy dress. The trouble is, at five-foot no-inches tall, flowy looks less "ethereal garden fairy" and more "toddler who pulled down the drapes."
That said, if you're a tall lady, by all means look up Monique Lhuillier. Also, stay away from me. My jealousy might lead me to attack your hem with the scissors that would surely be required to make these gowns fit my decidedly petite frame.

I completely understand where you are coming from, I am only 5′2 myself and whenever I wear anything flowy…I look like a kid playing dress-up in my mother’s closet. Its all about understanding your body and wearing what suits you. Fingers are not equal and neither are body types. Fabulous on the rack but on you, it looks like you missed the directions to a clown convention.
